About

Worcestershire’s Youth Cabinet are a group of young people elected by the other young people of Worcestershire to represent their views, opinions and rights to decision makers and authorities at all levels of society and government.

In order to best represent the very large number of young people across Worcestershire, the county is separated into six districts; Worcester City, Wychavon, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Wyre Forest and Malvern Hills. Each district votes individually for candidates to represent them in both local and county-wide issues. These issues can vary greatly from the accessibility of public transport and facilities to young peoples rights and opinions.

As Cabinet members, we are dedicated to our role and regularly attend meetings and public forums to discuss the concerns and issues of our constituents. We also take on additional projects as often as we can to further improve the lives of all young people in Worcestershire.

We work alongside the 3 Worcestershire Members of Youth Parliament, who are involved in nation-wide projects to ensure that the voices of Worcestershire’s Young People can be heard at the highest levels of government.

We are committed to helping and representing you and your needs.

So if you have any issues that you think we can help you with or if there’s anything you think needs action to bring to the attention of decision makers and authorities, get in touch. Through our website you can find out all about what we’re doing on your behalf, have your say by voting on a wide range of issues or contact us with your thoughts, ideas and questions.
